The Church of Christ, Congregational has always been known for its fine music program, which is integrated with and enhances the worship service. Its members are dedicated to sharing the Word of God with a diverse repertoire including traditional sacred hymns and contemporary praise and gospel music.
Under the direction of Myrna Rybczyk, the choir has presented or participated in many special events, including programs of lessons and carols, Christmas cantatas, a celebratory program for the 300th anniversary of our church, and an honorary program for George Ford, a well-loved teacher and public servant. For many special events, we are joined by singers representing other nearby community churches. The choir recently participated with combined choirs at a Palm Sunday service at the First Congregational Church of Holliston.
New members are always welcome and no audition is required, only the desire to join in praising God with voice and instruments. Rehearsals are held weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7pm and Sunday mornings before the service at 9am.
