All are welcome!
“Start with an hour, and build a lifetime of faith.” Worship is the heart of our life together. We gather on Sunday mornings to hear the Word of God, to find nurture for our spirits, and to meet with old and new friends. Many of our members will say that the Church of Christ in Millis is "one big family," but we are also a family that welcomes new people, whether you are new to town or returning to church after several years. Our Sunday worship is at 10 a.m. from September to June, and 9 a.m. in July and August. We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. We offer childcare for infants and toddlers, and Sunday School classes for children in pre-school through 7th grade. The children are in the sanctuary for the opening of the service, and then are dismissed to their Sunday School classes after a Children's Message. After the service, stay for our coffee hour, at which we share conversation and refreshments. We would like to get to know you, and we encourage you to let us know your interests and needs if you are seeking a new church home. In addition to Sunday morning services, special worship events are held for Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and at sunrise on Easter morning. We usually host the Ecumenical Thanksgiving service with other churches from Millis, and present an evening service of Lessons and Carols during the Christmas season.
