| Myrna Rybczyk, Music Director Judy Carlson, Organist Overview
Music, as a vital part of worship, has been a longstanding tradition at our church. Our worship music is accompanied by an historic and recently renovated 1,100 pipe organ (Holbrook Organ) and newly acquired Baldwin Howard grand piano. Music not only enhances our worship but also shapes our faith. Our music programs strive to offer a variety of opportunities for members to participate in the creative and inspiring expression of their faith while serving the congregation as a meaningful part of our worship service. The Adult Choir
The adult choir is one of the strongest and most committed groups in the church. Under the direction of Myrna Rybczyk, choir director, this group performs a diverse repertoire of traditional sacred music as well as contemporary, praise and gospel. |

Stone Altar Ringers
In addition to the adult choir, we also have a Handbell Choir consisting of congregational and community members. This enthusiastic and talented group, under the direction of Kathy Stevens, is open to anyone with an interest in music. As with the adult choir, no audition is required.
The Visiting Hymn Singers
This ecumenical group gathers several times throughout the year to provide a ministry of music to residents of local nursing homes and senior centers. This volunteer group provides important outreach and much joy to elderly members of our community. Music Programs for Children
We encourage children to become involved in our music programs and we offer various opportunities to participate through Sunday School and Youth Groups as there is interest. Also, the summer Vacation Bible School includes extensive and lively music for all of the children.
And . . .
The Charles River Chorale, a community chorus, rehearses in the church, includes several church members, and performs in our sanctuary occasionally. An annual "Jammin for Jesus" concert has become a spring-time tradition. Organized by church member Beth Dowdell the concert includes a range of classical and modern music by church members and friends from the community. It is a benefit concert to raise money for the Church of Christ Deacon's Fund.
For additional information about any of the music programs, please contact the church office at (508) 376-5034.
