About The Church of Christ, Congregational

The Church of Christ, Congregational is a member church of the United Church of Christ. We are 300 years old – but we don’t act like it! The Church of Christ is a vibrant, loving and growing community of faith in the protestant tradition.

We are congregational, which means that this individual church makes its own decisions, handles its own finances and calls its own leaders. Each member has a vote and a voice in the running of the church.

In our tradition we believe in empowering individuals to discover and develop their own faith. We seek a balance between freedom of individual conscience and accountability to one another and to the historic creeds and confessions of faith.
